In order to reduce processing time and memory space on the disk, it is advisable to limit the study zone.
The study zone that can be defined corresponds to the simulation zone to which you add a buffer zone equal to the propagation distance (pd) used when calculating. In theory, all the objects situated pd meters from the simulation will influence that simulation.
Because the terrain acts as the base to this project, all objects must be "placed" within it. To avoid having objects on the edges, it is essential to take a larger zone for the terrain.
Defining the study zone and the terrain zone
Once the terrain and study zones have been defined, you must retrieve the objects from each zone.
