The railway database

MithraSIG version 3.1 has a railway database based on acoustic emission values of railway materials in 2006.

MithraSIG version 3.2 (and higher) has a railway database based on acoustic emission values of railway materials in 2012.

The values provided in these different databases are the responsibility of their authors, not in any circumstances of Geomod or the CSTB.


note

Two comments on this change of SNCF base:

•The emission levels of the 2006 base (as well as MithraSIG version 2) are not compatible with those of the 2012 base.

•The spectral distribution according to height of sources has been modified, which may have a greater or lesser impact on simulations with screens..


All railway data is stored in "XML" format and can be imported and exported.

The updating of data during the change from version 3.1 to version 3.2 only affects old projects if the simulation is rerun.

Please note: when old projects are reopened, personal trains are kept as are all units and sources not present in the new base. Sources in the new base are automatically overwritten. It is therefore important to know the differences between the two railway databases.
