Simulation parameters

Previous pageBack to chapterNext page

These parameters are used by default when a new simulation is created.

Simulation settings

Simulation settings

Propagation maximum distance: suggested propagation distance beyond which sources will not be taken into account.

Beam angle: angle between two rays. The smaller it is, the more precise the simulation will be (but it will also take longer). This angle is between 1° and 30°.

Land use material: land use material used for the simulation when no land use has yet been set.  The list of possible values:

Number of threads used. The list of possible values (depends of the number of the cores):

Simulation Hz: receiver resolution: horizontal space between receivers.

Simulation Hz: height: height of the receivers over the ground.

Simulation Hz: receiver resolution 2: horizontal space between receivers beyond a specific distance from the sources.

Simulation Hz: distance min receiver resolution 2: minimum distance beyond the sources to apply the receiver resolution 2.

Simulation VT: receiver resolution: horizontal/vertical space between receivers.

Simulation VT: height: maximum height of the receivers over the ground.

Simulation facade: receiver resolution: horizontal space between receivers on the facades.

Simulation facade: receiver offset: offset between the receivers and the facades.
