This command breaks a line into two lines at a chosen point. This tool is available in the group Modification | Break Line from the ribbon Geometry when a linestring is selected.

Special case of noise sources

Noise sources (road, rail, linear source) correspond to an axis associated with traffic and a platform. The break line function has a specific management for these sources and alter a source in two specific sources where platforms and traffic are recalculated. The id of the source (No_Source) is changed, each new source has its own id.

Note: the new sources have the same properties than the origin source.
