Grids can be converted into polygons with the function 
. This function is available in the ribbon Simu - Renderings, after the selection of a grid.
Convert a grid
•Select a grid.
•Click on the button .
•A new overlay is created in Input data, containing the polygons converted. The colour table is the one extracted from the grid.

The function can be used to simplify maps and create smooth isophones. To do this, create a grid map with a large pixel size (5m or 10m for example).Then, from this map, use the Convert function. We obtain a smoothed polygon map without small and complex polygons. |
