It is possible to modify the values of power and gain of the antennas frequency bands in a map.
With a double-click on the list of the antennas, the list of the transmitters is displayed. The power values can be modified.
List of transmitters
•Limit: use this option to modify the powers to ensure that no receiver in the simulation exceeds the limit value specified. It is an iterative algorithm that focuses on maximum points. Just enter the desired value and unit and click on the button .
•Attenuation factor: applies an attenuation factor for each frequency on the antennas. We have Efactor = Ecalcul/Factor.
The computing power is modified according to the formula :
Once the value is entered, click on the button .
Note: ANFR Documentation / Directive lines
Radio broadcasting type broadcasts (television, FM radio) are performed at constant power, unlike the mobile telephony service for which the powers transmitted vary according to the traffic on the network. Therefore, for the mobile service, it is necessary to determine a reduction factor to meet the conditions described above. An analysis of the measurements made in 2014 between extrapolated cumulated value and broadband measurement, when mobile telephony dominates, made it possible to determine the median factor. This factor can be updated by the ANFR if necessary. The value used is 1.6.
•The button applies the changes made on the map in the data for antennas. So the original data is modified.
•The button resets the initial values when the map is loaded. If a change has been applied, initial values can be reseted and reapplied.
