The transmitters correspond to the sources of the electromagnetic field in MithraREM.
Several structural levels are defined:
The user can create one of several base stations regrouping antennas. A base station is characterised by: a name, an operator, an adress, etc. This notion of base station can be useful to manage simulations of mobile telephony networks. |
|
A physical antenna installed on a support (not modelised in MithraREM) Characteristics: type, name, model, MAH (Middle Antenna Height), antenna height, azimuth, mecanic tilt. |
|
Transmitter(s) associated to an antenna. The transmitter corresponds to a frequency band, a directivity, an emission power, a gain, an electric tilt, etc. Several transmitters can be present on one antenna (dual or tri-band for example). |
In MithraREM 1, antennas were linked to supports which were modelised. In MithraREM 2, the supports are not modelised anymore. |
