This chapter describes the process in order to run electromagnetic field simulations with MithraREM.
•Before all, and before building any Model: define default parameters (materials database, frequency bands definition... )
•The first step consists in building the MithraREM Model which contains all the topographic and physical data necessary for a simulation.
•The second step is about simulations. It consists in defining the parameters associated to simulations (spatial area, receiver density, etc...). The computation of a simulation is then processed in two main steps:
oGeometric computation: MithraREM sends beam tracing from antennas, computes all intersections with the met Model objects, and associates the corresponding sequence (reflection, diffraction) to each receiver.
oPhysical computation: For each sequence of a beam tracing between an antenna and a receiver, MithraREM computes its contribution in terms of electromagnetic field.
•The third step is about the exploitation of the results of a simulation and the creation of maps.
•The last step is the analysis of the results obtained.
