Adding of backdrops overlays
MithraSIG now distinguishes a new overlay type: Backdrops.
These overlays allow you to import layers from Web services (WMS, WMTS, Bing, OpenStreetMap, etc.) in order to display context data (background map, aerial view, etc.).
A new Backdrops section appears in the MithraSIG ribbon:
We find in this section the OpenStreetMap background map already present, as well as two new backgrounds:
- Geoportail backdrop
- Geoportail aerial view
In Project window, backdrops overlays are stored in a Backdrops group:
