In MithraSIG domains are defined, followed by simulations that are then associated with the domains (simulation areas). The same domain can thus be made in several different simulations.

Advantage: it is possible to create a horizontal map and a facade map at the same time by keeping the same parameters between domains.

Simulation results are stored in the form of a results file ('*.RES' extension).There is one results file per simulation simulation and per processor core, i.e. several results files per simulation.
