This dialogue box is accessible from the List of materials interface.

A material can be associated to one or more of the 3 usages: Facade, roof, Land. So, when the user will select a material for a facade building for example, only the materials associated to a facade will be listed in the scrolling list.

A frequency can be deleted from the list either from the contextual menu Delete frequency either from the button .

 

In MithraREM, the attenuation entered always corresponds to the diffuse field attenuation see chapter on indoor methods.

 

Following rules are applied when creating or editing a material:

•The material must be associated to a least one usage.

•The relative permittivity must be greater than 1.

•Frequencies must be ordered and must cover the range [0 , 999999].

As far as those rules are not verified, the errors are highlighted and validation is not available.
